Experience the ultimate 'totonoi' at an urban oasis of relaxation
【天然温泉 湯どんぶり栄湯】
Located in Nihonzutsumi, Taito City, Tokyo, '天然温泉 湯どんぶり栄湯' preserves the atmosphere of the Showa era while continually evolving.
Despite being a long-established sento with over 70 years of history, its defining feature is that soft 'natural hot spring' water is used for everything—from the bathtubs and showers to the faucets.
Gentle on the skin and said to make hair glossy, the hot spring is beloved not only by local residents but also by sauna enthusiasts and tourists who travel from afar.
Within the traditional sento ambiance adorned with a retro painted mural of Mt. Fuji, industry-first facilities and state-of-the-art saunas blend together to create a truly one-of-a-kind space.
Top 3 Recommended Highlights
1. Signature「どんぶり湯」and a sublime Nano Fine Bubble experience
Symbolic of 「湯どんぶり栄湯」and famous in its own right is the large cauldron bath 「どんぶり湯」located in the grand open-air bath. The hot spring water, infused with ultra-fine Nano Fine Bubbles, feels astonishingly soft and warms you to the core. It gently removes impurities from the pores, and your skin feels exceptionally moisturized after bathing.
2. Enjoy 「オート熱波」in the birthplace of sauna, with a variety of saunas
This place is also known as a popular facility where you can enjoy auto heat waves, and its dedication to sauna equipment is second to none. The men's area is equipped with stoves by Finland's long-established maker "Helo", and the women's area with "METOS Iki". Furthermore, from December 2024, an authentic trailer sauna equipped with a "harvia" stove using firewood from Akita broadleaf trees has been added, and together with a cold plunge boasting one of the greatest depths in Tokyo, it delivers the ultimate 「ととのい」.
3. 「美泡水風呂」and carefully curated medicinal baths and carbonated springs
For cooling down after the sauna, we recommend 「美泡水風呂」, where fine bubbles envelop your entire body. In addition, the herbal medicinal bath 「宝寿湯」, carefully composed from 2,500 kinds of crude drugs, and the 「超高濃度炭酸泉」using maifan stone—each tub reflects the owner's meticulous care. With such a variety of baths and sauna experiences, it's hard to take it all in on a single visit. Both baths and saunas are abundant, making you want to come back again and again.

Check RouteOta Ward Gourmet2026.09.26(土)On Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Ota City Industrial Plaza PiO, we will host a large networking event exclusively for people in their 20s and 30s, 「蒲田BIG恋活フェス」! Beyond matching apps, we want to create a place to meet where people can actually see each other face to face and talk naturally while sharing the same time and space. With that in mind, this is a community-based dating event planned to be held in Kamata. “In everyday life, there are few opportunities to meet new people” “It’s hard to grasp someone’s vibe through a matching app” “Formal marriage-hunting parties make me a bit nervous” We aim to offer a casual networking event that helps people in their 20s and 30s take the first step with ease. The venue is about a 3-minute walk from Keikyu Kamata Station. It’s a standing, free-mingling style event for up to 250 people, where you can socialize while enjoying light snacks and all-you-can-drink. It’s not a format where you talk to assigned partners in turn. You can move freely around the venue and enjoy conversations at your own pace with anyone who interests you. First-timers and solo attendees are very welcome! You can also join with friends. Of course, those looking for a partner are welcome, and so are those who “just want to talk to new people first.” Please feel free to join us.
