Records, antiques, standing bar. A hideaway in Asakusa’s backstreets where three cultures intersect.

A shop specializing in records, antiques, and a standing bar

『浅草 ミクロ』

Beyond the bustle of Sensō-ji, in the area known as “Kannon-ura,” stands 『浅草 ミクロ』. The mirror ball gleaming by the eaves is the sign of this place. Step inside and you’ll find a one-of-a-kind space where the three "connoisseur" elements—“records,” “antiques,” and “standing bar”—meld together.

While listening to the soothing music flowing from the DJ booth, gaze at the owner’s carefully curated antiques. The U-shaped counter centers on whisky and gin. Spend a special time in a unique atmosphere where the charm of old Japan blends exquisitely with modern street culture. As a new destination on your Asakusa stroll, we invite you to stop by.

A carefully curated space

Inside, antiques and furniture personally selected by the owner line the space, unified with a Japanese aesthetic. At the same time, it’s full of playful touches like a DJ booth and a mirror ball. This space where nostalgia and novelty coexist never lets visitors get bored.

Passion for music

One of the shop’s concepts is “records.” The warm sound flowing from analog vinyl further enhances the atmosphere. It’s also known as a relaxing gathering place for music lovers.

Drinks selected by the owner

On the counter, you’ll find a lineup of carefully chosen spirits, with a focus on whisky and gin. You might even come across sake connected to the owner, who hails from Gifu.

The Kannon-ura location

Within Asakusa, the “Kannon-ura” area has a history of flourishing as a geisha district and is packed with distinctive old and new establishments. 『ミクロ』 serves as a hub in this neighborhood where savvy adults gather.
