I Visited Rosicler in Ushigome-Yanagicho 🍽️✨
The interior had a calm and warm atmosphere, and it was fully booked with families and couples.
In the peaceful and comfortable setting, I enjoyed a course meal made with fresh ingredients from Noto 🌿💛
On that day, I ordered:
・Carpaccio of fresh fish directly from Noto
・Herb salad from Nishida Farm
・Shrimp Ajillo + Baguette
・Fried Ogi squid and Spanish shishito peppers
・Octopus and clam Caldo

The first delight was the carpaccio.
The fresh fish had a chewy texture and a solid umami taste. As I chewed, the deliciousness spread... it was truly exquisite 🥺💛
The shrimp ajillo featured large, plump shrimp!
Piping hot and fragrant, letting the oil soak into the baguette made for an incredibly happy taste.
A personal favorite was the fried Ogi squid and Spanish shishito peppers.
The outside was crispy, while the inside squid was chewy and incredible…!
The shishito peppers were just the right amount of spicy, pairing perfectly with the squid ink aoili sauce 🔥🤍
This restaurant also puts a special emphasis on salt,
using "Ishikawa Okunoto salt," as seen in the second photo 🧂
It enhanced the flavors of the ingredients, which I really loved!
And for the finale, the octopus and clam Caldo.
Although it was my first time trying caldo,
the octopus and clam flavors were rich and aromatic, simply the best…!
The balance of soup and rice was perfect, delicious until the very last bite✨
I also ordered a Basque cheesecake,
and the cute "octopus" illustration on the plate raised my spirits 🐙💗
It was rich, creamy, and easy to devour even after a full meal!
