✨⛰ I went to Mt. Takao for the first time ⛰✨
I visited Mt. Takao on December 16 last year,
on a weekday near the end of the autumn foliage season 🍁
Since it was a weekday,
there were fewer people than I expected,
so it was easy to walk around and enjoy the scenery at a relaxed pace ☺️✨
It was actually my first time ever hiking,
so I chose Trail No.1, which is recommended for beginners.
To be honest,
the slope was steeper than I imagined and quite challenging,
but along the way there were beautiful autumn leaves
and many shrines and sacred spots to stop by,
so there was always something interesting to see 🍁✨
Although the peak foliage season had already passed,
the remaining colored leaves were still lovely,
and the calm, late-autumn atmosphere made the experience even more special 🍂
The hike took less than two hours,
making it very approachable even for beginners.
If you prefer avoiding crowds,
visiting Mt. Takao on a weekday is highly recommended ⛰🤍
📍 Mt. Takao
🚃 Easy access from Takaosanguchi Station
