"Eternal Gaudí — Tracing the Miracle of the Sagrada Família in VR"
The VR experience "Eternal Gaudí — Tracing the Miracle of the Sagrada Família in VR," commemorating the 100th anniversary of Gaudí's death, is being held from Wednesday, August 5, 2026 to Thursday, December 31, 2026 (scheduled) at Storydive Theater WAHHHP Shinjuku West Exit location.
As an official VR experience authorized by the Sagrada Família Foundation, visitors become Gaudí's "apprentice" and retrace the architect's creative journey while touring his now-lost atelier and the world of the Sagrada Família.
Experience highlights
Guided by Gaudí's own narration
Listen to Gaudí's own words, touch upon the prayers embedded in his designs and his thoughts on nature, and tour the Sagrada Família through his eyes.
While touching blueprints, architectural models, and stone, you can experience how Gaudí gave form to his world of creation.
Walk inside the unfinished basilica
With VR's unique sense of immersion and life-size scale, feel the interior of the Sagrada Família: light streaming through stained glass and curving columns stretching like a forest as you walk through the space yourself.
Not only "seeing," but actually standing inside the unfinished basilica and stepping into the world of the story is what sets this experience apart.
A multilingual VR experience
Available in Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean, and French, so not only domestic travelers in Japan but also visitors from overseas can enjoy it.
The experience lasts about 20 minutes. You wear a VR headset and experience it while standing, moving freely.
