An art spot where you can experience a fantastical world woven by light and sound
[Mori Building Digital Art Museum:
Epson teamLab Borderless]
Located on the first basement floor of Azabudai Hills in Minato City, Tokyo, and offering excellent access from the city center, the “Mori Building Digital Art Museum: Epson teamLab Borderless” provides a completely new art experience. With the concept “In one borderless, continuous world, wander, explore, and discover,” it creates a world of art that flows and transforms freely without setting boundaries between work and work, people and works, or viewers and space.
This museum is not merely a place to “look”; by walking, touching, and feeling, the works change, and you yourself become part of them — an experiential space.
In this relocated and renewed venue, in addition to popular works carried over from the former site (Odaiba), many new works have been added, ensuring there is something new to discover each time you visit.

Top 3 Recommended Highlights
1. The experience of walking a borderless "labyrinth of art"
The greatest appeal of Epson teamLab Borderless is that the boundaries between works and space, and between people and art, are completely dissolved. Inside the museum, works of light projected on walls, floors, and ceilings change constantly and respond to the movements and presence of visitors.
Works are not fixed to specific rooms; they move over time, intersecting with other works to create new scenes. In this space where neither maps nor set routes exist, the serendipity of "what will appear next" becomes part of the experience itself. True to the name "Borderless," you can savor the sensation of walking through an endless labyrinth of art.
2. A world of "moving light" created by cutting-edge technology
teamLab's works are created using the latest digital technology, but at their core they are art that explores the relationship between human senses and the body. In the representative work 'Bubble Universe: Crystal of Light Spheres, Wobbling Light, Light Born from the Environment - One Stroke,' countless spheres of light fill the space. When a person stops near a sphere, light and sound ripple from the nearest sphere and, like drawing a single stroke, continue to the sphere that is always closest.
In 'Microcosmos: Wobbling Light, Light Born from the Environment,' countless lights race through a space of indeterminate depth. Each sphere cannot generate all the light on its own; it exists within a relationship in which other spheres become the environment that produces light. The viewer's movements and perception shape the work, creating an experience that is quiet yet leaves a powerful impression.
3. Watch the fish you drew "swim in the sea"
In the work 'Sketch Ocean,' you first freely draw a fish on paper. Then, when it is scanned, your fish begins to swim in the digital "sea" right before your eyes. Touch the fish and it startles and swims away; touch the feed bag to give it food—these interactive movements become lasting memories.
Even more intriguingly, among the fish you draw, the "tuna" will sometimes go beyond the confines of the museum and swim to 'Sketch Ocean' installations at teamLab museums around the world. It's as if the work you created connects with the world in real time—an experience unique to teamLab's museum.

If you visit teamLab Borderless, we also recommend stopping by the teahouse inside the museum, EN TEA HOUSE. When you pour tea into the bowl, flowers bloom, and as long as there is tea, they continue to bloom endlessly. The world inside the tea expands infinitely, and the continuing bloom within it makes for a perfect way to savor the works at a relaxed pace.
