Each shard of glass is carefully melted, transforming into soft droplets resembling water drops.

On this occasion, Hirota Glass was awarded the "Sumida SDGs Award 2025."

Glass shards inevitably result from our daily production.

Instead of discarding them thinking they are "broken and done," we want to breathe new life into them and find new beauty. With that in mind, our challenge began. After much trial and error, we created the accessory "Shiroshizuku (hakuRe)".

And colorful glass tiles that adorn the store wall.

We believe that the unique recycled glass of this area, including Edo Kiriko fragments, possesses new value as building materials and decoration, bringing new light to Sumida's local industry.
