Under Tokyo’s sky, a leisure destination where you can discover the brightest smiles and unforgettable thrills
【 Yomiuriland】
Located on hilly terrain that straddles Inagi City in Tokyo and Tama Ward of Kawasaki City in Kanagawa Prefecture, “Yomiuriland” is one of the Greater Tokyo area’s leading amusement parks, boasting over 40 attractions. From scream-inducing thrill rides to rides that even small children can enjoy, and hands-on making experiences in the 「グッジョバ!!」 area, it’s packed with ways for all ages to have fun all day long. Especially in winter, the gem-colored illumination 「ジュエルミネーション」 created by a world-renowned lighting designer bathes the park in light, creating a magical scene. Despite its excellent access from the city center, this place, surrounded by abundant nature, continues to offer visitors extraordinary fun and moving experiences
3 recommended highlights
1. Full of thrills! No.1 most popular coaster “Bandit”
The large roller coaster “Bandit,” considered a symbol of Yomiuriland, races along a 1,560 m course at a top speed of 110 km/h. Taking advantage of the mountain terrain, the course dashes through cherry blossoms in spring and illuminations in winter, offering different scenery with each season.
2. Manufacturing experience area 「グッジョバ!!」
Comprised of five industries—automotive, food, fashion, stationery, and health—this area features attractions and workshops themed around the manufacturing processes of familiar products. You can make your own Nissin Yakisoba U.F.O. at 「マイU.F.O.ファクトリー」 and customize parts yourself at 「カスタムガレージ」, offering plenty of learn-while-you-play experiences.
3. Gem-colored brilliance loved by the world 「ジュエルミネーション」
At 「よみうりランド」, the 「ジュエルミネーション」 is held every year from autumn through spring, enveloping the entire park in a dreamlike space of light as one of the largest illumination events in the Kanto area.
The jewel-themed illuminations produced by a world-renowned lighting designer color the park with a different theme each year, creating a fantastical world of light woven by about 6.5 million LEDs. In particular, the powerful fountain show synchronized with light and music is a must-see.

Other Recommended Information
Yomiuriland offers ways to enjoy the park tailored to families, couples, and groups of friends.
• For families, there are model courses full of children’s smiles, featuring workshops in the “グッジョバ!!” hands-on making area, photo opportunities with mascot characters, and an adorable sea lion show.
• For couples, a popular plan is to start with a romantic aerial ride on the gondola, enjoy a date at the adjacent new-sensation flower park “HANA・BIYORI,” and finish with the Ferris wheel overlooking the city center for a memorable day.
• For groups of friends, we recommend a high-energy course: conquer the popular “バンデット” right after opening, compare various thrill rides, and join a workshop to make original goods together. Use these model courses as a reference to find the perfect plan for each visitor.
