A special exhibition exploring the charm of unique siblings

At the Snoopy Museum, from September 5, 2026 (Sat) to February 28, 2027 (Sun), we will present the new special exhibition “Siblings are Wonderful きょうだいって、いいな”.
In “Peanuts,” which features many distinctive characters, the relationships among the siblings are truly unique. Charlie Brown and his younger sister Sally, Lucy and her younger brothers Linus＆Rerun, and Snoopy and his five siblings. We present episodes that depict their quarrels and misunderstandings, and how they support each other in times of trouble.
Through about 45 original and reproduced comic drawings, you can enjoy the appeal of the relatable “Peanuts” siblings. In addition, a new content “Drawing Station” that lets you re-experience Schulz’s linework will debut.

SIBLINGS 01

Charlie Brown and Sally

When his little sister Sally was born, Charlie Brown was overjoyed. However, as Sally grew up, she lost respect for her brother and even declared, “You’re a failure as a brother!”
Enjoy their humorous and endearing relationship through the comics.

SIBLINGS 02

Lucy and Linus＆Rerun

In the Van Pelt household, eldest daughter Lucy constantly meddles in the actions of her brothers Linus and Rerun, fully exercising her authority as the big sister.
Don’t miss the lively and funny exchanges among these three, each with a different personality.

SIBLINGS 03

Snoopy and his five siblings

Snoopy has five siblings, including Spike who lives in the desert and the chubby Olaf. Though they live apart, the six of them occasionally reunite and talk up a storm.
We present the charm of Snoopy’s siblings, who vary widely in both appearance and personality.

HIGHLIGHT

A valuable display including 15 original drawings shown for the first time

This exhibition presents approximately 45 pieces of original comic art and reproduced originals. Of these, 15 are rare original comic artworks that have not been displayed since entering the collection of the Schulz Museum.
Up close, you can feel the hand-crafted qualities unlike printed materials—the vigor of Schulz’s pen strokes, traces of reworking, and the gradations of ink.

Drawing Station and related merchandise

At the new 'Drawing Station', you can trace characters and motifs from 'Peanuts' to relive Schulz’s linework that creates the gentleness and warmth of his art. Together with the 'Charles Schulz Gallery', which introduces Schulz’s life and creative work through photographs and rare footage, you can experience the roots of his creativity. At BROWN'S STORE, exhibition-related items such as original art postcards, clear file sets, pouches, and stand mirrors will be available. The official catalog 'きょうだいって、いいな', which includes all 45 exhibited works with Shuntaro Tanikawa’s acclaimed translation in a Japanese–English bilingual format, will also be released.
