Located inside 有楽町マリオン, 「コニカミノルタプラネタリアTOKYO」 is an “entertainment space for adults” that goes beyond the conventional planetarium.
Inside are two dome theaters with distinct features. In DOME1, up to 8K high-resolution visuals project the starry sky and films with breathtaking beauty, while DOME2 features a spatial audio system and original aromas for an immersive experience that envelops all five senses.
There is also a café and a gift shop where you can find star-themed drinks and goods. It's a spot where sight, hearing, and even smell are all satisfied, letting you spend a truly special time.

1. Limited-time special events that color the seasons

At Planetaria TOKYO, thoughtfully curated seasonal events are held. During this visit, we were able to experience the limited-time event 「星空夏祭り」 held in the summer of 2025. Inside the dome, productions themed around fireworks and constellations spread out, and booths inspired by festival fairs lined the space, offering a special time to enjoy a summer festival mood in a fantastical setting.

2. Overwhelming immersion powered by cutting-edge technology

The two dome theaters bring together the latest technologies Konica Minolta is proud of.

In DOME1, images are projected to envelop you from the floor to the zenith of the dome. Ultra-high-resolution visuals up to 8K made it feel as if we were cast into outer space.

DOME2 is equipped with the 3D audio system 「SOUND DOME®」. Realistic sound from all directions and the Nishijin-ori sofa 「銀河シート」 created a supreme relaxation space. In the healing program, the scent of an original aroma is added, allowing you to enjoy the starry sky with all five senses.

3. A café＆gift shop to bask in the afterglow of the starry sky

There is an adjoining café and gift shop where you can continue enjoying the starry-sky world even after the show. It’s great that you can visit even without a planetarium ticket.

Cafe Planetaria has the concept of "a café you encounter while traveling through the galaxy." With items like the nebula-inspired "Nebula Soft-Serve Ice Cream" and planet-like "Galaxy Donuts," the photogenic menu was as beautiful as it looks.

Gallery Planetaria takes the theme of ”a mysterious gift shop somewhere in the galaxy” and sells miscellaneous goods, accessories, and original merchandise related to space and the stars. Perfect for gifts for loved ones or a treat for yourself.

In addition to regular planetarium screenings, there was a variety of adult-oriented content, including live music collaborations with artists and healing programs featuring aromatherapy. Some programs even allow photography, letting you preserve your memories.
