A fun, hands-on career and social experience facility for children
【KidZania Tokyo】

Set in a scaled-down city about two-thirds the size of the real world, kids can try around 100 different jobs and services—truly a city where children take center stage. More than just play, this edutainment (education+entertainment) facility helps children learn how society works through work experiences and discover both the fun and the challenges of working, with the aim of fostering their life skills. Located at “アーバンドック ららぽーと豊洲1 ノースポート3階” in Toyosu, Koto City, Tokyo, it also offers excellent access. A wide range of activities is available, from jobs that protect people and the city—such as firefighters, doctors, and police officers—to food-related roles like pâtissier and pizza maker, and even transportation-related jobs such as pilot and train operator.

Top 3 recommended points

1. About 100 types of authentic activities

At KidZania Tokyo, you can enjoy about 100 activities (job and service experiences) sponsored by real companies. Children change into uniforms and, using professional facilities and tools, can work just like adults. For example, they can engage in firefighting as firefighters or make baked sweets as patissiers, and these experiences nurture children’s dreams for the future.

2. Experience economic activities through the unique currency "kidZos"

As compensation for work, you can receive KidZania’s exclusive currency "kidZos". These kidZos can be deposited in the bank inside KidZania, used to shop at the department store, or paid as fees for lessons (activities). This allows children to feel the meaning of "working" and the "value of money" and to learn in a realistic way how the economy of society works.

3. Programs that offer opportunities to engage with English

At KidZania Tokyo, we offer various programs that allow children to naturally come into contact with English while playing. For example, in "E@K Activity," the entire activity is conducted in English, helping develop communication skills while having fun. In addition, on "English Wednesday!" about half of the activities in the facility are conducted in English on Wednesdays, and children can interact with global staff. Furthermore, the ※"English Activities Program" allows small groups to experience multiple activities consecutively in English, and even beginners can participate with confidence with the help of gestures and support.

Services for parents/guardians and safety initiatives

At KidZania Tokyo, there are plenty of dedicated services to ensure parents can spend their time comfortably. For example, by using the Parents Lounge, you can relax or get some work done while your child is taking part in activities. The lounge also offers paid services such as a drink bar and mobile battery rental, so you can feel at ease even during long stays. In addition, you can observe your child’s activity through glass panes or on monitors, allowing you to watch over them with peace of mind.
