In this exhibition, not only the Nerima City Art Museum but also various locations in the community, such as Sun Life Nerima and the Santsu Nakamurabashi Shopping Street, will serve as venues.

At flower shops, pawnshops, secondhand bookstores, cafés, and gelato shops along the shopping street, you can view small-scale works centered on sculpture and painting. In former shop premises and the former restaurant at Sun Life Nerima, works that make the most of each space’s unique characteristics will also be on display.

At the Nerima City Art Museum, a new installation with a ceiling painting by 大小島真木 and sculptures, including new works, by 袴田京太朗 will be exhibited in the galleries, the lobby, and in front of the main entrance.

Displays inside the museum run until Sunday, October 18, so please pay attention to the dates when you visit.

During the exhibition period, we plan a “Guided Tour,” in which the curator in charge will guide visitors through the exhibition sites while explaining the works, as well as a collaboration with the mini-concert “Atrium Mini Stage” held at the Nerima City Office atrium.

At the end of the exhibition, the “Art Marché,” now in its fourth year, is also scheduled. In addition to vendor booths at 美術の森緑地, workshops and performing arts events are planned.
