Titanic 〜Echoes Beyond Time〜
Japan debut! Immersive VR experience "Titanic: Echoes Across Time" The immersive VR experience "Titanic: Echoes Across Time" will be held at the permanent VR theater "Storydive Theater WAHHHP" in Shinjuku, Tokyo, starting Friday, October 23, 2026. This work is a VR experience that lets you journey from exploring the wreck lying in the deep sea to the ship’s interior in 1912. After exploring the remains of the Titanic resting about 3,800 meters deep in the Atlantic Ocean, you will travel back in time and tour the ship’s interior during its 1912 maiden voyage as one of the passengers of the time. Highlights of the experience Explore the Titanic resting in the deep sea The experience begins with you boarding a research submersible as a member of a shipwreck investigation team to explore the wreck of the Titanic lying in the deep. Guided by a historian, you will trace the ship’s remnants and items preserved for over a century, uncovering the stories hidden within the Titanic. Walk through the ship as it was in 1912 After the deep-sea exploration, you’ll step aboard the Titanic before she sank. First- and third-class cabins, the engine room, the Grand Staircase, the boat deck—wander through the faithfully recreated interiors on foot. Meticulous reconstruction based on historical sources The production involved two years of research. By cross-checking archival materials from France’s maritime museum "La Cité de la Mer" and the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the ship, its passengers, and events have been carefully rebuilt. In addition to walking through the interiors, the experience is interactive, allowing you to participate by operating elements yourself—such as retrieving a waterproof case from the seafloor. Recommended for Recommended for those interested in the history of the Titanic and VR experiences, and for anyone who wants to enjoy a different kind of activity while sightseeing in Tokyo. Available in Japanese, English, Chinese, French, and Spanish, this VR experience can be enjoyed by visitors from both Japan and abroad. © Storydive Theater WAHHHP ※Images are for illustrative purposes only. © Storydive Theater WAHHHP ※Images are for illustrative purposes only. ※The event is scheduled to run until Sunday, February 28, 2027. ※For children under 120 cm in height, a guardian should decide whether participation is appropriate. ※All ticket prices include tax. :root { --bg-color: #fcfcfc; --card-bg: #ffffff; --text-main: #111111; --text-muted: #555555; --accent-orange: #ff5500; --accent-orange-light: #fff2ec; --border-color: #e5e5e5; --dark-card: #141414; } * { box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0; padding: 0; } html, body { width: 100%; overflow-x: hidden; background-color: var(--bg-color); color: var(--text-main); font-family: 'Noto Sans JP', 'Noto Sans', -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, "Segoe UI", Roboto, "Helvetica Neue", Arial, sans-serif; line-height: 1.7; letter-spacing: 0.02em; -webkit-font-smoothing: antialiased; } .container { max-width: 860px; width: 100%; margin: 0 auto; padding: 48px 20px; } /* Header Styling */ header { border-bottom: 2px solid var(--text-main); padding-bottom: 32px; margin-bottom: 48px; } .badge { display: inline-block; background-color: var(--accent-orange); color: #ffffff; font-size: 0.75rem; font-weight: 700; padding: 3px 10px; text-transform: uppercase; letter-spacing: 0.08em; margin-bottom: 16px; } .main-title { font-size: 1.6rem; font-weight: 700; line-height: 1.35; color: var(--text-main); margin-bottom: 12px; word-break: break-word; } .intro-text { font-size: 0.925rem; color: var(--text-muted); text-align: justify; word-break: break-word; } /* Section Styling */ section { margin-bottom: 56px; width: 100%; } .section-header { margin-bottom: 24px; } .section-title { font-size: 1.3rem; font-weight: 700; letter-spacing: 0.04em; position: relative; } .section-title::after { content: ''; display: block; width: 36px; height: 3px; background-color: var(--accent-orange); margin-top: 6px; } /* Highlights Layout */ .grid-highlights { display: flex; flex-direction: column; gap: 20px; width: 100%; } .card { background-color: var(--card-bg); border: 1px solid var(--border-color); padding: 24px; width: 100%; box-sizing: border-box; transition: border-color 0.3s ease; } .card:hover { border-color: var(--accent-orange); } .card-number { font-size: 0.8rem; font-weight: 700; color: var(--accent-orange); margin-bottom: 8px; display: block; } .card-title { font-size: 1.1rem; font-weight: 700; margin-bottom: 12px; line-height: 1.4; word-break: break-word; } .card-text { font-size: 0.9rem; color: var(--text-muted); word-break: break-word; } .card-text p { margin-bottom: 8px; } .card-text p:last-child { margin-bottom: 0; } /* Recommendation Section */ .recommend-box { border-top: 1px solid var(--border-color); padding-top: 36px; width: 100%; } .recommend-text { font-size: 0.925rem; color: var(--text-main); margin-bottom: 24px; text-align: justify; word-break: break-word; } /* Image Gallery Protection & Responsiveness */ .image-gallery { display: grid; grid-template-columns: repeat(auto-fit, minmax(260px, 1fr)); gap: 20px; margin-bottom: 28px; width: 100%; -webkit-user-select: none; -moz-user-select: none; -ms-user-select: none; user-select: none; } .image-frame { background-color: #f4f4f5; border: 1px dashed var(--border-color); border-radius: 4px; padding: 12px; display: flex; flex-direction: column; align-items: center; justify-content: center; width: 100%; overflow: hidden; } .image-frame img { max-width: 100%; width: 100%; height: auto; display: block; object-fit: contain; pointer-events: none; } .image-caption { font-size: 0.75rem; color: var(--text-muted); margin-top: 8px; text-align: center; word-break: break-word; line-height: 1.4; } /* Notes List */ .notes-list { list-style: none; background-color: #f4f4f5; padding: 20px 20px 20px 32px; width: 100%; box-sizing: border-box; } .notes-list li { font-size: 0.825rem; color: var(--text-muted); margin-bottom: 6px; text-indent: -1.2em; word-break: break-word; } .notes-list li:last-child { margin-bottom: 0; } /* Responsive Design */ @media (max-width: 768px) { .main-title { font-size: 1.4rem; } .container { padding: 32px 16px; } .card { padding: 20px; } .image-gallery { grid-template-columns: 1fr; } }

Arts Nakamurabashi 2026 — Memories of Me and My Town
Exhibition An exhibition exploring the “town” and art “Arts Nakamurabashi 2026—Memories of Me and the Town” Taking place at the Nerima City Art Museum and across the Nakamurabashi town area, “Arts Nakamurabashi 2026—Memories of Me and the Town” is being held. This is the second edition of the “Contemporary Art Exhibition Connecting with the Town,” which began last year. With the theme “Memories of Me and the Town,” works by nine artist groups—including sculpture, painting, photography, architecture, and installations—connect the past and present of the “town” of Nakamurabashi. Exhibition Highlights Enjoy the works while walking around town In this exhibition, not only the Nerima City Art Museum but also various locations in the community, such as Sun Life Nerima and the Santsu Nakamurabashi Shopping Street, will serve as venues. At flower shops, pawnshops, secondhand bookstores, cafés, and gelato shops along the shopping street, you can view small-scale works centered on sculpture and painting. In former shop premises and the former restaurant at Sun Life Nerima, works that make the most of each space’s unique characteristics will also be on display. New works on view at the museum At the Nerima City Art Museum, a new installation with a ceiling painting by 大小島真木 and sculptures, including new works, by 袴田京太朗 will be exhibited in the galleries, the lobby, and in front of the main entrance. Displays inside the museum run until Sunday, October 18, so please pay attention to the dates when you visit. Events around the works will also be held During the exhibition period, we plan a “Guided Tour,” in which the curator in charge will guide visitors through the exhibition sites while explaining the works, as well as a collaboration with the mini-concert “Atrium Mini Stage” held at the Nerima City Office atrium. At the end of the exhibition, the “Art Marché,” now in its fourth year, is also scheduled. In addition to vendor booths at 美術の森緑地, workshops and performing arts events are planned. Recommended for This exhibition is recommended for those who would like to stroll through Tokyo while enjoying contemporary art, and for those who want to feel the connection between the Nakamurabashi area and art. Why not enjoy both the "town" of Nakamurabashi and art by visiting works not only in the museum but also those scattered throughout the shopping streets and around town? 飯田竜太《Filtered Silence 18》2024, books, wood 大小島真木《シシルイルイ》2026, oil, canvas, Kannagara, ceramic, wood, horn (※ based on the plan drawing) ※Please check the venue map for each venue's closed days and opening hours. ※Event details will be announced as they become available on the Events page of the official website. :root { --bg-color: #fcfcfc; --card-bg: #ffffff; --text-main: #111111; --text-muted: #555555; --accent-orange: #ff5500; --accent-orange-light: #fff2ec; --border-color: #e5e5e5; --dark-card: #141414; } * { box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0; padding: 0; } html, body { width: 100%; overflow-x: hidden; background-color: var(--bg-color); color: var(--text-main); font-family: 'Noto Sans JP', 'Noto Sans', -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, "Segoe UI", Roboto, "Helvetica Neue", Arial, sans-serif; line-height: 1.7; letter-spacing: 0.02em; -webkit-font-smoothing: antialiased; } .container { max-width: 860px; width: 100%; margin: 0 auto; padding: 48px 20px; } /* Header Styling */ header { border-bottom: 2px solid var(--text-main); padding-bottom: 32px; margin-bottom: 48px; } .badge { display: inline-block; background-color: var(--accent-orange); color: #ffffff; font-size: 0.75rem; font-weight: 700; padding: 3px 10px; text-transform: uppercase; letter-spacing: 0.08em; margin-bottom: 16px; } .main-title { font-size: 1.6rem; font-weight: 700; line-height: 1.35; color: var(--text-main); margin-bottom: 12px; word-break: break-word; } .intro-text { font-size: 0.925rem; color: var(--text-muted); text-align: justify; word-break: break-word; } /* Section Styling */ section { margin-bottom: 56px; width: 100%; } .section-header { margin-bottom: 24px; } .section-title { font-size: 1.3rem; font-weight: 700; letter-spacing: 0.04em; position: relative; } .section-title::after { content: ''; display: block; width: 36px; height: 3px; background-color: var(--accent-orange); margin-top: 6px; } /* Highlights Layout */ .grid-highlights { display: flex; flex-direction: column; gap: 20px; width: 100%; } .card { background-color: var(--card-bg); border: 1px solid var(--border-color); padding: 24px; width: 100%; box-sizing: border-box; transition: border-color 0.3s ease; } .card:hover { border-color: var(--accent-orange); } .card-number { font-size: 0.8rem; font-weight: 700; color: var(--accent-orange); margin-bottom: 8px; display: block; } .card-title { font-size: 1.1rem; font-weight: 700; margin-bottom: 12px; line-height: 1.4; word-break: break-word; } .card-text { font-size: 0.9rem; color: var(--text-muted); word-break: break-word; } .card-text p { margin-bottom: 4px; } .card-text p:last-child { margin-bottom: 0; } /* Recommendation Section */ .recommend-box { border-top: 1px solid var(--border-color); padding-top: 36px; width: 100%; } .recommend-text { font-size: 0.925rem; color: var(--text-main); margin-bottom: 24px; text-align: justify; word-break: break-word; } /* Image Gallery Protection & Responsiveness */ .image-gallery { display: grid; grid-template-columns: repeat(auto-fit, minmax(260px, 1fr)); gap: 20px; margin-bottom: 28px; width: 100%; -webkit-user-select: none; -moz-user-select: none; -ms-user-select: none; user-select: none; } .image-frame { background-color: #f4f4f5; border: 1px dashed var(--border-color); border-radius: 4px; padding: 12px; display: flex; flex-direction: column; align-items: center; justify-content: center; width: 100%; overflow: hidden; } .image-frame img { max-width: 100%; width: 100%; height: auto; display: block; object-fit: contain; pointer-events: none; } .image-caption { font-size: 0.75rem; color: var(--text-muted); margin-top: 8px; text-align: center; word-break: break-word; line-height: 1.4; } /* Notes List */ .notes-list { list-style: none; background-color: #f4f4f5; padding: 20px 20px 20px 32px; width: 100%; box-sizing: border-box; } .notes-list li { font-size: 0.825rem; color: var(--text-muted); margin-bottom: 6px; text-indent: -1.2em; word-break: break-word; } .notes-list li:last-child { margin-bottom: 0; } /* Responsive Design */ @media (max-width: 768px) { .main-title { font-size: 1.4rem; } .container { padding: 32px 16px; } .card { padding: 20px; } .image-gallery { grid-template-columns: 1fr; } }

700th Anniversary Commemorative Special Exhibition 'Daitokuji: Japan's Unrivaled Zen Monastery'
700th Anniversary Commemorative Special Exhibition 「大徳寺 本朝無双之禅苑」 The special exhibition 「大徳寺 本朝無双之禅苑」, commemorating the 700th anniversary of 大徳寺 in Murasakino, Kyoto, will be held at the Heiseikan, Tokyo National Museum. Since its founding in 1326, 大徳寺 has developed through deep connections with generations of eminent monks, emperors, Sengoku warlords, and tea masters. This exhibition brings together the temple treasures from within the 大徳寺 precincts, including its sub-temples and temples of the 大徳寺 school, to present 700 years of history and culture. Highlights of the Exhibition 14 National Treasures and 69 Important Cultural Properties on display It has been 41 years since an exhibition bringing together the treasures of 大徳寺 was last held, and this is the first time in Tokyo. Invaluable works that convey the history of Zen and art will be exhibited, including the National Treasure 「観音猿鶴図」, the Important Cultural Property 「龍虎図」, and the National Treasure 「看読真詮榜」 by 宗峰妙超. Some works will be rotated between the first and second halves. The first half runs from Wednesday, October 14 to Sunday, November 8, and the second half runs from Tuesday, November 10 to Sunday, December 6. Recreated display of the Sanmon, usually closed to the public The venue will feature a recreated display of the Sanmon at 大徳寺, which is usually not open to the public. The principal image 「釈迦如来坐像」 enshrined in the Sanmon and the first-time public display 「千利休立像」 will also be exhibited throughout. This display allows visitors to feel the connections between 大徳寺, Zen, and the tea ceremony. Figures connected to 大徳寺 and 700 years of history Works related to figures closely connected to 大徳寺, such as 一休宗純、後醍醐天皇、織田信長、豊臣秀吉, will also be introduced. Through the faith and involvement that successive eminent monks, rulers, and tea masters placed in 大徳寺, you can trace the history of Japanese Zen culture. Louvre Museum Exhibition: Renaissance
56 works, including pieces by Leonardo, arrive in Japan from the Louvre "The Louvre Museum Exhibition: Renaissance" At The National Art Center, Tokyo, "The Louvre Museum Exhibition: Renaissance" is being held through Sunday, December 13. Focusing on Renaissance art that developed across Europe from the 15th to the 16th centuries, this exhibition introduces the rich and complex characteristics of the period through 56 works selected from the collection of the Louvre Museum. This exhibition spotlights Leonardo da Vinci, the artist who symbolizes the Renaissance, and presents works under four themes: "Travel," "Innovation and Refinement of Technique," "Looking to Antiquity," and "The Rise of Portraiture." In addition to paintings, visitors can see a wide variety of works, including sculpture, prints, drawings, and decorative arts. Highlights of the Exhibition Leonardo da Vinci’s "Portrait of a Woman" shown in Japan for the first time At this exhibition, Leonardo da Vinci’s "Portrait of a Woman," mistakenly given the alternative title "La Belle Ferronnière," will be unveiled in Japan for the first time. An oil painting created around 1490–1497, it is a masterpiece of portraiture that symbolizes the heightened interest in human individuality during the Renaissance. Introducing Renaissance art through four themes The display is organized around four themes: "Travel," "Innovation and Refinement of Technique," "Looking to Antiquity," and "The Rise of Portraiture." From the reevaluation of ancient Greek and Roman culture to exchanges among artists and the development of techniques, visitors can learn about Renaissance art from multiple perspectives. A diverse array of works on display—from paintings and sculpture to prints and decorative arts At the venue, works from a broad range of genres—including painting, sculpture, prints, drawings, and decorative arts—are presented. Through the Louvre Museum’s diverse holdings, visitors can experience the allure of Renaissance art. Recommended for This exhibition is recommended for those interested in Renaissance and Western art, those who wish to appreciate works by Leonardo da Vinci, and those who would like to experience the Louvre Museum’s collection. Not only "seeing," but actually standing inside the unfinished basilica and stepping into the world of the story is what sets this experience apart. A multilingual VR experience Available in Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean, and French, so not only domestic travelers in Japan but also visitors from overseas can enjoy it. The experience lasts about 20 minutes. You wear a VR headset and experience it while standing, moving freely. Recommended for Recommended for those interested in the Sagrada Família and Gaudí’s architecture, or anyone looking to enjoy a new VR experience in Tokyo. Even without traveling to Spain, through VR you can immerse yourself in the world of the Sagrada Família that Gaudí devoted his life to. Special Exhibition "Learning from Hojoki — Small Architecture to Reweave Life —"
Special Exhibition Rethinking contemporary life through Hōjōki Special Exhibition "Learning from Hōjōki – Small architectures that reweave how we live –" At 21_21 DESIGN SIGHT, the special exhibition "Learning from Hōjōki – Small architectures that reweave how we live –" has been on view since Friday, August 28, 2026. The early 13th-century essay Hōjōki by Kamo no Chōmei poses questions about how to live in an ever-changing world. The hermitage where Chōmei lived no longer exists, but his words have been read across ages, offering clues to the essence of dwelling. Taking as its starting point the small architecture that appears in Hōjōki, "Hōjō no an," this exhibition reconsiders contemporary life and the built environment. Under the direction of architect Yoshiharu Tsukamoto, the exhibition director, architects, designers, artists, and companies each envision their own "Hōjō no an." Exhibition Highlights Considering life from a small architecture of about 9 m² Using the one-jō-square scale—about 9 m²—of "Hōjō no an" as a guide, the exhibition presents various devices that reexamine ways of living through materials, structure, and tools. Experience multiple "Hōjō no an" Alongside research on nature and daily life depicted in Hōjōki, multiple hermitages are presented in the venue. As visitors move through the exhibition space, they can encounter "Hōjō no an" composed from different perspectives. Turning attention to the space between Hōjōki and contemporary life This exhibition is not solely about interpreting Hōjōki itself. It seeks to focus on the "life" that emerges between Hōjōki and us, offering a chance to reengage with how we live today. Recommended for This exhibition is recommended not only for those interested in architecture, design, and Japanese culture, but also for anyone who wishes to consider ways of living in limited spaces and the future of housing. It is well worth stopping by when visiting museums and design venues in Tokyo’s Roppongi area. Photo: 木奥恵三 Photo: 木奥恵三 ※Exhibition contents and participating artists are subject to change. Duet――Asian Contemporary
Exhibition Contemporary photography and moving images from China and Japan in resonance 「Duet――Asian Contemporary」 At the Tokyo Photographic Art Museum, the exhibition 「Duet――Asian Contemporary」 will be held. Presenting contemporary photographic and moving-image works from China and Japan, it is planned as the second in a series following the 2018 「On Love: Asian Contemporary」. Taking the word 「Duet」 as a clue, the exhibition presents works with differing viewpoints and backgrounds in the same space, focusing on the relationships and resonances that emerge where multiple perspectives, cultures, time, and personal experiences intersect. Exhibition Highlights Diverse photographic and moving-image works by six artists from China and Japan The venue presents works by six artists: 村越としや, ワン・トゥオ(王拓), スイ・タカ(塔可), ルオ・ヤン(罗洋), ジャン・ポンイー(蒋鹏奕), and fumiko imano. From 村越としや’s works capturing the memories of the land in Fukushima; ワン・トゥオ’s moving-image works addressing the history and society of Northeast China; スイ・タカ’s photographic series traveling to the locales sung in the Shijing, China’s oldest poetry anthology; to ルオ・ヤン’s works that capture the identities of young people and Asian immigrants, the exhibition looks at contemporary Asia through each artist’s distinctive perspective. Experience the many possibilities of photographic expression ジャン・ポンイー creates 〈Dark Addiction〉 using a camera-less technique that directly records the trails of fireflies’ bioluminescence onto film. fumiko imano develops self-portrait collage works featuring an imaginary pair of twin sisters. Through works employing different techniques and modes of expression, this exhibition offers an encounter with the diverse expressions of contemporary photography and moving images. Related events to enjoy alongside the exhibition During the exhibition period, in addition to a symposium featuring the co-organizer, photography critics, and the curator in charge, there will also be a Q&A show incorporating sign language and a gallery talk by the curator. The symposium is scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2026, with Japanese–Chinese consecutive interpreting, sign language interpreting, and real-time captioning provided. Recommended for Recommended for those interested in contemporary photography and moving-image works, those who want to experience contemporary art from China and Japan, and those who want to enjoy works that capture Asia from diverse cultures and perspectives. Because it is held at the Tokyo Photographic Art Museum located within Yebisu Garden Place, we also recommend combining your visit with museums and sightseeing spots in the Ebisu area. Assembling Again: Japan's Emerging Artists vol.23
Special Exhibition Five emerging Japanese artists explore new images “Reassembling: Emerging Japanese Artists vol. 23” At the Tokyo Photographic Art Museum, the special exhibition “Reassembling: Emerging Japanese Artists vol. 23” will be held. This exhibition focuses on five artists who create works using diverse technologies and materials such as AI, CG, and stop-motion animation. The exhibition highlights the creative processes that assemble real memories, materials, technologies, and each artist’s own context into new images. In a world overflowing with information, where it is difficult to discern truth from falsehood, the show offers an opportunity to reflect on what we believe and how we perceive the world. Exhibition Highlights New expressions born from diverse technologies and materials The participating artists are 市田小百合, 苅部太郎, 野村在, 橋本麦, and 藤倉麻子. Each, through different methods and perspectives, creates works that engage with memory, images, and the boundary between reality and fiction. 市田小百合 presents, for the first time in Japan, an installation that reconstructs fragments of a school building using a blackboard as the support, themed around the time accumulated in the place of school. 苅部太郎 combines glitch noise generated by a television receiver with generative AI to probe the mechanisms of perception and of “seeing.” Additionally, 野村在 focuses on the materiality of the photographic medium by burning portrait photographs and recording the light of the flames with long exposures. 橋本麦 will exhibit a new installation using stop-motion animation created with self-made devices and tools. 藤倉麻子 will present an installation that constructs a fictional city and its society using live-action footage, CG, AI, and more. Also spotlighting the “process” by which works are created The exhibition draws attention not only to the finished works but also to the creative process—how images are assembled and transformed into new expressions. In particular, 橋本麦 will conduct public production during the exhibition period, presenting the process by which the work comes into being alongside the completed footage. Talks by exhibiting artists and guests will also be held During the exhibition period, talk events featuring exhibiting artists and guests will be held. Starting with 市田小百合×本橋仁 on October 4, a total of five talks are planned with 野村在×岡部あおみ、苅部太郎×下西風澄、橋本麦×辻川幸一郎、藤倉麻子×南後由和. Special Exhibition「Siblings are Wonderful Having siblings is nice」
Special Exhibition Snoopy Museum “Siblings are Wonderful きょうだいって、いいな” Exhibition A special exhibition exploring the charm of unique siblings At the Snoopy Museum, from September 5, 2026 (Sat) to February 28, 2027 (Sun), we will present the new special exhibition “Siblings are Wonderful きょうだいって、いいな”. In “Peanuts,” which features many distinctive characters, the relationships among the siblings are truly unique. Charlie Brown and his younger sister Sally, Lucy and her younger brothers Linus&Rerun, and Snoopy and his five siblings. We present episodes that depict their quarrels and misunderstandings, and how they support each other in times of trouble. Through about 45 original and reproduced comic drawings, you can enjoy the appeal of the relatable “Peanuts” siblings. In addition, a new content “Drawing Station” that lets you re-experience Schulz’s linework will debut. Spotlight on the siblings of “Peanuts” SIBLINGS 01 Charlie Brown and Sally When his little sister Sally was born, Charlie Brown was overjoyed. However, as Sally grew up, she lost respect for her brother and even declared, “You’re a failure as a brother!” Enjoy their humorous and endearing relationship through the comics. SIBLINGS 02 Lucy and Linus&Rerun In the Van Pelt household, eldest daughter Lucy constantly meddles in the actions of her brothers Linus and Rerun, fully exercising her authority as the big sister. Don’t miss the lively and funny exchanges among these three, each with a different personality. SIBLINGS 03 Snoopy and his five siblings Snoopy has five siblings, including Spike who lives in the desert and the chubby Olaf. Though they live apart, the six of them occasionally reunite and talk up a storm. We present the charm of Snoopy’s siblings, who vary widely in both appearance and personality. HIGHLIGHT A valuable display including 15 original drawings shown for the first time This exhibition presents approximately 45 pieces of original comic art and reproduced originals. Of these, 15 are rare original comic artworks that have not been displayed since entering the collection of the Schulz Museum. Up close, you can feel the hand-crafted qualities unlike printed materials—the vigor of Schulz’s pen strokes, traces of reworking, and the gradations of ink. Drawing Station and related merchandise At the new 'Drawing Station', you can trace characters and motifs from 'Peanuts' to relive Schulz’s linework that creates the gentleness and warmth of his art. Together with the 'Charles Schulz Gallery', which introduces Schulz’s life and creative work through photographs and rare footage, you can experience the roots of his creativity. At BROWN'S STORE, exhibition-related items such as original art postcards, clear file sets, pouches, and stand mirrors will be available. The official catalog 'きょうだいって、いいな', which includes all 45 exhibited works with Shuntaro Tanikawa’s acclaimed translation in a Japanese–English bilingual format, will also be released. Recommended for 'Siblings are Wonderful きょうだいって、いいな' is an exhibition where you can enjoy the relationships of the distinctive siblings who appear in 'Peanuts' along with humorous comics. It is recommended not only for those who love Snoopy and 'Peanuts', but also for anyone who wants to view rare original comic art up close. Though there are quarrels and misunderstandings, siblings who can be relied upon in times of trouble are relatable for family visitors and enjoyable across generations.
