DESIGNER｜Sori Yanagi
Sori Yanagi (1915-2011) is a renowned Japanese industrial designer. He consistently maintained a design approach that prioritizes the perspective of the user, involving crafting models by hand to create everyday objects that enrich one's life and can be used long-term. Established in 1953 by Yanagi himself, YANAGI DESIGN OFFICE continues to forward his design philosophies through new creations, overseeing reissues, and engaging in design education and enlightenment activities.
