Fully private, exclusive-use, unisex sauna in Kuramae
【SAUNA&co】
Located in Kuramae, Taito City, Tokyo, “SAUNA&co” is a lifestyle-oriented private sauna created to meet increasingly diverse needs as the benefits of saunas gain wider recognition.
Guided by the belief that a life with sauna “&” enriches one’s lifestyle, we provide a special space to soothe body and mind, promote deep sleep, enhance work productivity, and deepen bonds with loved ones.
One of the few private saunas in Tokyo open to all genders, it lets you spend cherished time with friends, family, or a partner.
The sauna room evokes a smoke sauna with a dark interior and features extra-wide bench surfaces where you can comfortably lie down. Choose from original natural-aroma blends and freshly decocted tea, and enjoy self-löyly by pouring them over the sauna stones.
The relaxation room is filled with natural greenery, offering a refreshing escape that makes you forget you’re in the city. In the same building, there is also the lodging “FOCUS KURAMAE,” along with a café and workspaces, providing a comprehensive experience before and after your sauna session.
3 Recommended Highlights
1. A rare coed private space in Tokyo
SAUNA&co is a private sauna where you can spend special time with friends, family, or a partner, and it is one of the few in Tokyo that allows mixed-gender use in the same room. We offer two room types: 「&aroma・&tea」 (90 minutes, 1–2 guests) and 「&co」 (120 minutes, 1–3 guests), so you can choose according to your needs.
2. A carefully crafted sauna room and a nature-inspired relaxation space
The sauna room is a calm, dimly lit space reminiscent of a smoke sauna, equipped with a spacious bench where you can stretch out and lie down. With self-löyly using original natural aromas and freshly brewed tea, you can adjust the scent and humidity to your liking. The post-sauna lounge is a botanical space surrounded by lush natural plants, allowing you to enjoy deep relaxation right in the heart of the city.
3. The ultimate “ととのい” experience with the adjoining accommodation 「FOCUS KURAMAE」
One of SAUNA&co’s greatest attractions is that the hostel 「FOCUS KURAMAE」, themed around “photography × lodging,” is located in the same building. This facility, a renovated former camera parts factory, offers five room types: large double, double, twin, single, and dormitory. After savoring supreme relaxation in the sauna, you can stay overnight without moving, experiencing deep sleep and perfect “ととのい”. There is also a cafe & bar on the first floor, ideal for unwinding after the sauna.
