Hop in a rowboat and head to the historic moat that dates back to the Edo period. Drift leisurely across the water while gazing at the city center’s skyline, and you’ll forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life. In addition to boat fishing with lures or bait, it’s also recommended to use it as a sightseeing boat to enjoy the scenery without fishing.

2. A fully featured fishing pond for everyone, young and old
At the fishing pond on the floating pier, you can catch carp year-round, as well as rainbow trout in winter and ugui in summer. There is even a goldfish pond exclusively for children. Families with small kids can safely enjoy their first fishing experience. Rods and bait are available for rent, so you can drop by empty-handed.

Fish caught in the pond can be exchanged on the spot for prizes. The more you catch, the better the chance of receiving a nice gift. There are also unique touches such as selling the original wooden lure 「スギたまご 爆鳥」 for fishing and streaming live cameras that show the underwater environment.
