🍣Visiting "Sushi Kiraku" in Musashikoyama.

A serene space with only 8 seats at the counter, where you can enjoy authentic Edo-mae sushi crafted by a master with over a quarter-century of experience✨

This time, it was an omakase course starting from seasonal dishes to sushi.

They say the best ingredients of the day are sourced daily from Toyosu, and from start to finish, it was unbelievably luxurious🥹

The first taste of the corn soup was so sweet it was hard to believe it was sugar-free🌽

The thick sawara was lightly grilled, tender and moist.

The fish had a crisp flavorful skin, and the flesh was plump and flaky.

The iwashi roll with shiso, cucumber, and sesame was refreshing and fun.

Even the à la carte dishes alone were satisfying, and then came the sushi...🍣

O-toro melted smoothly and Kohada was springy.

The thick slices of mackerel were so tender it melted in the mouth, leaving an especially strong impression this time😭✨

Chutoro was also incredibly tender.

The hand roll combined with crab meat and sea urchin was rich and delightful.

The large botan shrimp was plump and creamy🦐

Particularly, the indulgent buff sea urchin from Monbetsu, Hokkaido was abundant enough to fill the mouth...!

This was the first time I'd tasted sea urchin so luxuriously and it was pure bliss🥹💗

The squid was pleasantly textured, and the marinated tuna was as smooth as cream.

Additionally, the whale tail meat tasted incredibly soft when enjoyed with green onions.

The last anago, with yuzu and salt, was refreshing.

It flaked apart delicately, melting in the mouth like bubbles… truly moving!

Across the counter made from a single slab of Yoshino Hinoki over 300 years old, watching the master's craftsmanship up close adds to the charm.

The handcrafted ceramics and sake ware that reflects the four seasons are also beautiful, allowing you to slowly enjoy the sake pairing🍶

Despite its upscale feel, it remains comfortable, making it ideal for special occasions or when you want to savor truly delicious sushi at your leisure🥰
