This time we’re introducing 『TOKYO FAMILY RESTAURANT』, located a 10-minute walk from Shibuya Station. In a relaxed space with a casual interior, you can enjoy world foods from over 30 countries and over 900 carefully selected craft gins.
This North African classic, “Bone-in Chicken, Lemon and Olive Tagine with Couscous” (¥1,600), is popular in Japan as well.
Slowly simmered without water, the tagine is rich and nutrient-packed, with fall-off-the-bone tender meat. It’s so good you’ll want to drink the broth to the last drop. *Tagine contents change weekly
A popular lunch for children, “Kids’ Butter Chicken Curry with French Fries” (¥800) features a gentle tomato-cream flavor, letting kids deliciously enjoy a taste of faraway places.
Another nice perk: for an additional ¥200 at lunch, you can add a special apple juice with no sugar and no added water.
The “Vegetable Plate” (¥1,200) is healthy and filling, and popular with both women and men.
There’s no meat on the plate, but you can enjoy plenty of vegetables at once, including hummus—a spiced chickpea paste—house-made flatbread, and salad deli items.
