This time we introduce “Solmari,” located a 3-minute walk from Shin-Okubo Station.
In a restaurant with a richly exotic atmosphere, you can enjoy traditional Nepali dishes made with spices sourced directly from Nepal.
A must-try when you visit 'Solmari' is the "Kasaudi Biryani" (half ¥1,150, full ¥1,950).
A regional dish from southern Nepal in which ingredients like meat and vegetables are cooked together with spices.
The chunky ingredients are wonderfully satisfying, and because spices imported from Nepal are used, you can savor authentic flavors. (Choose mutton or chicken.)
Popular with everyone from adults to children, "momo" (¥650) are Nepali-style steamed dumplings made by wrapping minced chicken and vegetables in dough and steaming them.
A representative Nepali dish, the spiced filling whets the appetite.
Great as a side dish and also an excellent match with drinks, so they're recommended as a snack, too.
If you want to try various Nepali dishes, we recommend the "Solmari Kaja Set" (¥1,200).
“Kaja” means a light meal, and this satisfying plate lets you sample authentic flavors little by little, such as chicken and bean dishes prepared with Nepali spices.
