Specialty dried-flower café
『Le coin』
Nestled in the charming streets of Yanaka, Tokyo, 「Le coin」 is a dried-flower café that opened in December 2021.
Inside a carefully renovated traditional house, beautiful dried flowers adorn the space from ceiling to walls, creating a dreamy atmosphere reminiscent of a stylish overseas flower shop.
Though conveniently located—10 minutes on foot from Nippori Station and 6 minutes from Sendagi—it offers a serene environment that makes you forget the city bustle. In the café, dried flowers are crafted in-house from fresh blooms, reflecting a deep passion and care for flowers.
The signature item is the monthly changing “Seasonal Limited Parfait.” Not only beautiful to look at, it also delivers authentic flavors, earning high praise from many guests as “even tastier than it looks in photos.” On weekends, waits of 1–2 hours can occur, yet even that time is cherished by many as part of the pleasure of strolling Yanaka.
The first floor offers counter and table seating, with additional tables upstairs, accommodating solo visitors, couples, and families alike. Dried flowers are also sold, so you can take home your favorite blooms after your café time. Enjoy a tranquil, special time in harmony with Yanaka’s nostalgic streetscape.
The biggest appeal of Le coin is its "seasonal parfait" whose contents change each month. In March's Mimosa Parfait, Earl Grey panna cotta and Earl Grey jelly, house-made crumble, genoise, vanilla ice cream, lemon sorbet, honey lemon, fresh cream, dried lemon, and mint form beautiful layers where refreshing sweetness and rich milky flavors harmonize exquisitely. It's not only visually stunning but also authentically flavorful, and is well received even by those who don't care for overly sweet desserts. Parfaits themed on a different seasonal flower each month offer new discoveries and delight every time you visit.
Inside, colorful dried flowers are beautifully arranged from the ceiling to the walls. The enchanting space, as if you had wandered into an overseas flower shop, is photogenic from every angle. Because we actually make dried flowers in-store from fresh blooms, you are always surrounded by fresh, beautiful flowers. The warm wooden texture of the old house harmonizes with the elegant beauty of the dried flowers, offering a special, soothing time you won't find in the city.
The interior, carefully renovated from an aged traditional Japanese house, blends perfectly with Yanaka's historic streetscape. With 12 seats in total across the first and second floors, the cozy space feels private and lets you unwind at a leisurely pace. At the counter, it's easy to drop in even on your own, and many guests enjoy their cafe time while reading. Stop by in the middle of a Yanaka stroll and you'll enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience where the nostalgic charm of old Tokyo meets contemporary cafe culture.
After your cafe time, you can take home the dried flowers sold in-store. At an affordable 300 yen per bundle, and around 2,000 yen for bouquets, they're perfect for gifts. We also carry a wide range of items like wreaths and swags, as well as pieces with dried flowers beautifully arranged in boxes and baskets, which you can enjoy as long-lasting interior decor. It's a unique service that lets you take home memories of your lovely time at the cafe along with beautiful flowers.
