『Nippori “Himitsudo”』

Located in Yanaka, Taito City, Tokyo, “Himitsudo” is one of Tokyo’s foremost shaved-ice specialty shops, using “Nikko Natural Ice” carefully crafted by the Mitsuboshi Himuro icehouse. The fluffy ice, meticulously shaved to order with a traditional hand-cranked machine, melts the moment it touches your mouth, delivering an exquisite texture. Paired with additive-free, house-made syrups made from seasonal fruit, it offers a luxurious dessert experience that overturns conventional notions of shaved ice. An acclaimed establishment selected for Tabelog’s “Sweets TOKYO Top 100,” it boasts overwhelming popularity, selling around 500 servings a day.
 
 

Commitment to Natural Ice

We use natural ice crafted by the long-established icehouse 「三ツ星氷室」 in Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture. The high-purity ice, naturally frozen over about two weeks during the severe winter cold, is characterized by few impurities and exceptional clarity.

The Appeal of Handmade Syrups

All syrups are handmade in-house. We maximize the deliciousness of seasonal fruits, offering a natural sweetness with no additives. The total number of menu items has exceeded 100, with plenty of seasonal and daily specials.

ひみつのいちごみるく
One of our signature items. The exquisite match between our house-made strawberry syrup and milk makes it a classic loved by everyone from children to adults.

マンゴー三味
A luxurious item that lets you enjoy three types of rich mango sauce. Noted for a rich flavor reminiscent of the fruit itself.

季節限定メニュー
Spring features cherry blossoms, summer offers peaches and melons, and autumn brings chestnuts and persimmons—limited-time menus using seasonal fruits throughout the year are also popular.

Ticketing System
During busy times, numbered tickets are distributed. You can check operating status and wait times on the official SNS (Twitter).

Recommended Visit Times
Right after opening on weekdays or after 3:00 p.m. tends to be less crowded. On weekends and holidays, we recommend arriving right at the 8:00 a.m. opening.

Takeout Available
