Check RouteShinjuku City Lecture & Culture2026.10.23(金)–2027.02.28(日)Japan debut! Immersive VR experience "Titanic: Echoes Across Time" The immersive VR experience "Titanic: Echoes Across Time" will be held at the permanent VR theater "Storydive Theater WAHHHP" in Shinjuku, Tokyo, starting Friday, October 23, 2026. This work is a VR experience that lets you journey from exploring the wreck lying in the deep sea to the ship’s interior in 1912. After exploring the remains of the Titanic resting about 3,800 meters deep in the Atlantic Ocean, you will travel back in time and tour the ship’s interior during its 1912 maiden voyage as one of the passengers of the time. Highlights of the experience Explore the Titanic resting in the deep sea The experience begins with you boarding a research submersible as a member of a shipwreck investigation team to explore the wreck of the Titanic lying in the deep. Guided by a historian, you will trace the ship’s remnants and items preserved for over a century, uncovering the stories hidden within the Titanic. Walk through the ship as it was in 1912 After the deep-sea exploration, you’ll step aboard the Titanic before she sank. First- and third-class cabins, the engine room, the Grand Staircase, the boat deck—wander through the faithfully recreated interiors on foot. Meticulous reconstruction based on historical sources The production involved two years of research. By cross-checking archival materials from France’s maritime museum "La Cité de la Mer" and the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the ship, its passengers, and events have been carefully rebuilt. In addition to walking through the interiors, the experience is interactive, allowing you to participate by operating elements yourself—such as retrieving a waterproof case from the seafloor. Recommended for Recommended for those interested in the history of the Titanic and VR experiences, and for anyone who wants to enjoy a different kind of activity while sightseeing in Tokyo. Available in Japanese, English, Chinese, French, and Spanish, this VR experience can be enjoyed by visitors from both Japan and abroad. © Storydive Theater WAHHHP ※Images are for illustrative purposes only. © Storydive Theater WAHHHP ※Images are for illustrative purposes only. ※The event is scheduled to run until Sunday, February 28, 2027. ※For children under 120 cm in height, a guardian should decide whether participation is appropriate. ※All ticket prices include tax. :root { --bg-color: #fcfcfc; --card-bg: #ffffff; --text-main: #111111; --text-muted: #555555; --accent-orange: #ff5500; --accent-orange-light: #fff2ec; --border-color: #e5e5e5; --dark-card: #141414; } * { box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0; padding: 0; } html, body { width: 100%; overflow-x: hidden; background-color: var(--bg-color); color: var(--text-main); font-family: 'Noto Sans JP', 'Noto Sans', -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, "Segoe UI", Roboto, "Helvetica Neue", Arial, sans-serif; line-height: 1.7; letter-spacing: 0.02em; -webkit-font-smoothing: antialiased; } .container { max-width: 860px; width: 100%; margin: 0 auto; padding: 48px 20px; } /* Header Styling */ header { border-bottom: 2px solid var(--text-main); padding-bottom: 32px; margin-bottom: 48px; } .badge { display: inline-block; background-color: var(--accent-orange); color: #ffffff; font-size: 0.75rem; font-weight: 700; padding: 3px 10px; text-transform: uppercase; letter-spacing: 0.08em; margin-bottom: 16px; } .main-title { font-size: 1.6rem; font-weight: 700; line-height: 1.35; color: var(--text-main); margin-bottom: 12px; word-break: break-word; } .intro-text { font-size: 0.925rem; color: var(--text-muted); text-align: justify; word-break: break-word; } /* Section Styling */ section { margin-bottom: 56px; width: 100%; } .section-header { margin-bottom: 24px; } .section-title { font-size: 1.3rem; font-weight: 700; letter-spacing: 0.04em; position: relative; } .section-title::after { content: ''; display: block; width: 36px; height: 3px; background-color: var(--accent-orange); margin-top: 6px; } /* Highlights Layout */ .grid-highlights { display: flex; flex-direction: column; gap: 20px; width: 100%; } .card { background-color: var(--card-bg); border: 1px solid var(--border-color); padding: 24px; width: 100%; box-sizing: border-box; transition: border-color 0.3s ease; } .card:hover { border-color: var(--accent-orange); } .card-number { font-size: 0.8rem; font-weight: 700; color: var(--accent-orange); margin-bottom: 8px; display: block; } .card-title { font-size: 1.1rem; font-weight: 700; margin-bottom: 12px; line-height: 1.4; word-break: break-word; } .card-text { font-size: 0.9rem; color: var(--text-muted); word-break: break-word; } .card-text p { margin-bottom: 8px; } .card-text p:last-child { margin-bottom: 0; } /* Recommendation Section */ .recommend-box { border-top: 1px solid var(--border-color); padding-top: 36px; width: 100%; } .recommend-text { font-size: 0.925rem; color: var(--text-main); margin-bottom: 24px; text-align: justify; word-break: break-word; } /* Image Gallery Protection & Responsiveness */ .image-gallery { display: grid; grid-template-columns: repeat(auto-fit, minmax(260px, 1fr)); gap: 20px; margin-bottom: 28px; width: 100%; -webkit-user-select: none; -moz-user-select: none; -ms-user-select: none; user-select: none; } .image-frame { background-color: #f4f4f5; border: 1px dashed var(--border-color); border-radius: 4px; padding: 12px; display: flex; flex-direction: column; align-items: center; justify-content: center; width: 100%; overflow: hidden; } .image-frame img { max-width: 100%; width: 100%; height: auto; display: block; object-fit: contain; pointer-events: none; } .image-caption { font-size: 0.75rem; color: var(--text-muted); margin-top: 8px; text-align: center; word-break: break-word; line-height: 1.4; } /* Notes List */ .notes-list { list-style: none; background-color: #f4f4f5; padding: 20px 20px 20px 32px; width: 100%; box-sizing: border-box; } .notes-list li { font-size: 0.825rem; color: var(--text-muted); margin-bottom: 6px; text-indent: -1.2em; word-break: break-word; } .notes-list li:last-child { margin-bottom: 0; } /* Responsive Design */ @media (max-width: 768px) { .main-title { font-size: 1.4rem; } .container { padding: 32px 16px; } .card { padding: 20px; } .image-gallery { grid-template-columns: 1fr; } }
