Looking to relax with the taste of home? This is the place!
『Meshidokoro Kazuki』
Today we’re introducing 『Meshidokoro Kazuki』, located a 2-minute walk from Takadanobaba Station.
Opened in April 2022, its concept is “chefs recreate Mom’s home cooking.” They serve freshly cooked rice, and miso soup is handmade one serving at a time in a small saucepan—an eatery with comforting meals where you can take a breather.
Fresh tuna sourced directly from the port
is exceptional
One must-try when you visit is the "Tuna Sashimi" (¥820; can be upgraded to a set meal for +¥290). Since it’s purchased directly from the port, you can savor fresh lean tuna. (Prices may vary depending on the market.)
Crispy-coated
Mixed Fry is popular
The restaurant’s popular "Mixed Fry" (¥980; can be upgraded to a set meal for +¥290) is served freshly fried.
Not only delicious but also visually striking, this hearty plate features fried horse mackerel, fried shrimp, and a mini menchi-katsu. (Items may vary depending on the market.)
Crispy and juicy!
"Niigata Herb Chicken" is great, too
Beloved by all ages, the "Niigata Herb Chicken" (¥600; can be upgraded to a set meal for +¥290) features well-seasoned herb chicken coated in potato starch and fried to a crispy, juicy finish—perfect for karaage lovers.
It’s a deeply satisfying dish that makes you want to dig into freshly cooked white rice.
A set-meal restaurant where you can take a breather
The restaurant strives to always serve warm, home-style dishes. The concept is a casual set-meal spot where you can relax.
With generous space between seats, entering with a stroller is smooth. Bringing baby food is also OK, so even those with small children can feel at ease.
Be sure to stop by and enjoy those nostalgic, home-style flavors like mom used to make.
