Enjoy innovative dishes rooted in French cuisine
'CENSU TOKYO'
This time we are introducing 'CENSU TOKYO', located an 8-minute walk from Kokuritsu-Kyogijo Station.
The restaurant made its Japan debut in July 2023 as the second branch of Hong Kong's popular restaurant 'CENSU'. In an interior that evokes a fusion of Hong Kong and Japan, you can enjoy innovative dishes based on French cuisine that make generous use of Japanese, Western, and Chinese ingredients and techniques.
A big visual impact!
A superb paella with juicy chicken
A must-try when you visit 'CENSU TOKYO' is the 'Hainan Chicken Paella' (4,880 yen).
The paella, cooked in scallop broth and packed with umami, is topped with juicy grilled chicken for maximum visual impact!
Shred the chicken and mix it with cucumber and green onions for a refreshing, addictive combination of textures and flavors.
Generous portions make it perfect for sharing with kids too♪
Packed with shrimp umami!
Addictive boiled dumplings
'CENSU TOKYO' also offers a wide selection of à la carte dishes to enjoy with natural wines, sake, and more.
A standout is the 'Boiled Dumplings' (1,580 yen), with an irresistibly silky, springy texture.
Dip the shrimp-filled dumplings into a rich bisque and you’ll be hooked!
The potato chip crunch is unbeatable!
A potato salad kids will love
Recommended for families with children is the 'Homemade Potato Salad' (880 yen).
Inside the potato salad is, surprisingly, a soft-boiled egg!
Spoon it onto the homemade potato chips on top for a fun texture and fantastic flavor♡
Its novel look and playful crunch are sure to delight the kids♪
An interior that blends Hong Kong and Japan
The interior of 'CENSU TOKYO' was designed by Yoshiyuki Matsuoka to evoke a blend of Hong Kong and Japan, with playful furnishings and lighting that create a fun atmosphere.
Families with children are typically guided to table seating on the second floor, and strollers can either be accommodated by moving chairs to seat as is, or, depending on the situation, left with the restaurant.
