This time we’re introducing 『B Café & Lab』, located just a one-minute walk from Takadanobaba Station. Operated by an art university prep school for international students, it opened in February 2023 as a café and creative workspace. It’s a noteworthy café where you can engage with art while savoring delicious drinks and sweets.

A “Japanese-style affogato” with perfectly balanced sweetness
A must-try when you visit “B Café & Lab” is the “Japanese-style affogato” (750 yen), topped with homemade soft shiratama mochi and mildly sweetened azuki beans with vanilla ice cream.
Pour warm espresso over it to your liking, and the gentle flavor where the ice cream’s sweetness and the espresso’s bitterness blend perfectly is sure to soothe both mind and body.
If children will be eating, you can order it without espresso. Enjoy a relaxing treat together as parent and child♪ (Espresso can be changed to decaf free of charge)

Exquisite “Cinnamon Carrot Cake”
The food menu at “B Café & Lab” features delicious, adorable baked goods sourced from “Atelier-gigi” in Machida City.
Among them, the “Cinnamon Carrot Cake” (650 yen) is a big hit with all ages!
The batter contains not only carrots but also walnuts and raisins, and uses unrefined cane sugar to add aroma and depth. Even kids who dislike vegetables are sure to be delighted by its gentle sweetness♡
When dining in, you can enjoy it together with cinnamon powder & whipped cream.

At “B Café & Lab”, they source coffee beans from “Kabuki” in Shin-Okachimachi and serve two varieties, “Oryza” and “Amber”, as “Hand-Drip Coffee” (650 yen).
Those who are pregnant or sensitive to caffeine can switch to decaf free of charge, so you can enjoy coffee with peace of mind.
The decaf from “Kabuki” has a deep flavor with distinct bitterness, body, and sweetness, making it perfect to enjoy alongside sweets like cakes and muffins♪
