TOKYO outside Festival Showa Kinen Park
One of Tokyo’s largest outdoor events, “TOKYO outside Festival 2026,” will be held at Showa Kinen Park!
At the National Showa Kinen Park in Tachikawa, Tokyo, “TOKYO outside Festival 2026” will take place over two days, Saturday and Sunday, October 24–25, 2026. This is a hands-on event themed around the outdoors, featuring a variety of activities, exhibitions and sales of the latest gear, gourmet food, and workshops.
This year also marks the debut of the dog entertainment area “TOKYO DOGS' RUNWAY,” where you can enjoy the event with your beloved dog. From children to adults, everyone can enjoy an autumn weekend while discovering the charms of the outdoors.
Event Highlights
Get moving with outdoor activities
A variety of hands-on activities are planned at the venue, including tree climbing, bouldering, slacklining, bungee trampolines, and a giant slide. From children to adults, you can experience the fun of the outdoors while getting active.
Plenty of the latest outdoor gear and gourmet food
In addition to exhibits and sales of tents, cookware, and outdoor apparel, custom cars and camper vans will also make an appearance.
There will also be gourmet offerings from kitchen cars, plus an Aussie Beef BBQ class and sausage tasting sessions. Shopping, markets, and hands-on craft workshops offer many other ways to enjoy the event.
A brand-new area to enjoy with your dog debuts
At the inaugural “TOKYO DOGS' RUNWAY” this year, you can look forward to experiences such as walking the runway with your dog, photo shoots by professional photographers, and seminars on canine health and disaster preparedness.
Brands offering dog apparel, food, and care products will exhibit, and a free photo booth will be available so you can enjoy special moments with your dog.
