TV Anime 'Detective Conan' 30th Anniversary Exhibition

The TV anime "Detective Conan," which began airing on January 8, 1996, is finally celebrating its 30th broadcast anniversary. As part of the Detective Conan "TV&MOVIE 30YEAR PROJECT," the "30th Anniversary of Broadcasting: TV Anime \"Detective Conan\" Exhibition" will be held. ■Entrance
To commemorate the 30th anniversary, Conan Edogawa and 30 characters will welcome you at the entrance.

■Introduction
We will present, all at once, 30 years' worth of the familiar opening scene from the TV anime: "Looks like a child, brain of an adult—his name is Detective Conan!!"

＃1　Planning
Everything begins with planning when producing an anime. Here, materials such as character designs and art setting documents are on display. We also showcase the key points Gosho Aoyama values when creating characters, as well as the director's recommended tricks. Don't miss the model displays, including the Mouri Detective Agency, created from actual art materials!

#2　Storyboards
Storyboards are essential for structuring an anime's story. Here, the walls are covered with actual storyboards used in the TV anime "Detective Conan." Why not experience in this exhibition space the vast number of storyboards drawn over the past 30 years?

#3　Animation
The animation process, packed with the most important elements for creating anime footage—“color and movement”. Here, Conan's motions are displayed frame by frame. Please experience visually the moment when the character springs to life, from black-and-white line art to full color.

#4　Dubbing (ADR)
Dubbing breathes life into the characters that have begun moving on screen. Here, you can compare the differences in Conan Edogawa's expressions of "joy, anger, sorrow, and pleasure," and view congratulatory comments from the voice actors.

#5　Theme songs
Theme songs are indispensable to TV anime. Here, we shine a spotlight on the theme songs of the TV anime "Detective Conan," displaying historical CD jackets and a chronology.
